Kitty Cocktail Cafe
Project Brief
Per our project requirements, we were tasked with coming up with a retail space idea that we would be passionate about and using the specific design movement our professor gave us to base our whole design concept on. My design movement was Bauhaus. This movement is based off of simple geometric shapes, such as squares, triangles, and circles, as well as primary colors like red, blue, and yellow. My retail shop is a cat cafe where one can come and have a beverage, play with cats, and shop in the little retail section for mugs, cat elixirs, and more!

Concept Statement
To create a space that exudes energy and fun all the while keeping the historic character intact of the Wiggert Building in downtown La Crosse, WI. Come sit down and enjoy a cocktail while your furry friend can come and enjoy one as well. From the color pops of yellow and red to the moodiness of brown, one feels like they have entered a space with endless possibilities of geometric shapes, colors, clean lines, modern materials, and organic furniture.
